B28 is a non-custodial crypto wallet. That means everything below happens on your own device, and we never hold, control, or touch your funds. Here is the whole journey, start to finish, in the order you would actually do it.
1. Create a wallet
When you first open B28, it generates your keys on your phone, not on our servers. The keys live in your device's secure hardware, locked behind your fingerprint or face. You also get a recovery phrase, a list of words that is the master backup for your wallet. Write it down and keep it offline. You can export it any time. Because the keys never leave your device, if you lose the recovery phrase, no one, including us, can bring your wallet back. See what non-custodial means for why this trade-off is worth it.
2. Hold across 16 networks
One wallet covers 16 networks: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Tron, Solana, XRP, TON, Stellar, and Cardano. That is around 48 assets in total once you include major tokens like USDC and USDT on the EVM chains and Solana. Holding and receiving are free. You can fund the wallet by receiving from another wallet or exchange, or by buying crypto with a card through an on-ramp partner, whose fee is always shown before you confirm.
3. Send and receive, signed with your fingerprint
To receive, you share your address (or a QR code) for the network you want. To send, you enter the amount and recipient, then approve with your fingerprint, which is what actually signs the transaction on your device. Sending is free from B28. You pay only the network's own fee, which goes to the blockchain, not to us.
4. Talk to it in plain words
You do not have to hunt through menus. Type a plain-language command like "send 40 USDC to Ana" and B28 prepares the action for you to review and approve with your fingerprint. It will not give buy or sell advice, it will not hold your keys, and it never moves money on its own. Every action still ends with you approving it.
5. The Sentinel warns you before a scam
Before you sign anything, the Sentinel scam-shield checks the recipient address and the token against known scams, drainer approvals, look-alike "address poisoning", and honeypot tokens (the kind built so you can buy but never sell). If something looks wrong, it speaks before you tap confirm, not after the money is gone. This is live today. Read more at protection.
6. Convert to spendable value
In-app convert and swap is rolling out. Today you get a live-rate preview so you can see exactly what a conversion would give you at the real mid-market rate. There is no hidden FX spread. The in-app convert fee is 0.85%, reduced to 0.50% on the Ultra plan. See how fees work and the convert section.
7. The card is coming
The instant-convert Visa card is in development. It is not live anywhere yet, so we will not pretend otherwise. When it launches, its spending fees will be published in full. An independent security review will be published before the card launches. Until then, B28 is a complete, working wallet: hold, send, receive, talk to it, and let the Sentinel watch your back.
A few honest reminders
- B28 is not a bank, not an e-money institution, and not a regulated deposit-taking institution. Crypto is volatile and uninsured.
- You hold your own keys. We cannot freeze, lose, or touch your funds, and we cannot recover your recovery phrase for you.
- The wallet is available broadly, but blocked in sanctioned regions (Cuba, Iran, North Korea, Syria, Russia, Belarus).
