The basics
How do I get B28?
B28 is opening to early access on iOS and Android. Leave your email and we will write to you once, on the day it opens — that is the only message you will get from us, and your address is not used for anything else. When it does open, B28 is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play and nowhere else; anything offering it from another channel is not us.
Is B28 custodial? Do you hold my crypto?
No. B28 is non-custodial. Your keys are generated and stored on your own device, in its secure hardware behind your biometrics. We never hold, control, or access your funds. You can export your recovery phrase whenever you want. The flip side of real ownership: if you lose that phrase, we cannot recover it for you. Read more on self-custody.
Which networks and assets does B28 support?
B28 supports 16 networks: Bitcoin, Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, BNB Chain, Avalanche, Litecoin, Dogecoin, Tron, Solana, XRP, TON, Stellar, and Cardano. Across those chains plus major tokens like USDC and USDT, that is around 48 assets in total.
Costs
What will B28 cost?
These are the prices we intend to launch with. Holding and receiving will be free. Sending will be free from B28: you pay only the network's own fee, which goes to the blockchain, not to us. In-app convert will carry a 0.85% B28 fee, reduced to 0.50% on the Ultra plan. Buying crypto with a card goes through an on-ramp partner whose fee is shown before you confirm. The full breakdown lives on our fees page. There is no cashback, no rewards and no bonus scheme — we would have nothing to fund one with, and we would rather charge you less than pay you back.
When can I get the card?
The instant-convert Visa card arrives with a regulated banking partner, which is a slower thing to put in place than software. Its spending fees and the countries it reaches are published in full before anyone can order one. The wallet does not wait on it — see the four planned tiers.
Staying safe
How do I stay safe from scams?
B28's Sentinel speaks before you tap confirm. It screens the recipient address and the token against known scams, drainer approvals, look-alike "address poisoning", and honeypot tokens built so you can buy but never sell, and it warns you first. It cannot stop you from approving a transfer, but it makes sure you see the risk before you do.
What if I lose my phone?
Your funds are not stored on the phone, your keys are, and those keys are protected by your device's secure hardware and your biometrics. The way back in is your recovery phrase: write it down when you set up the wallet, keep it offline, and you can restore on a new device. Without it, no one, including us, can recover your wallet. Will the B28 assistant ever move my money on its own?
No. When you talk to B28 ("send 40 USDC to Ana"), it only prepares the action for you to approve with your fingerprint. It refuses to give buy or sell advice, it refuses to hold your keys, and it never moves money by itself.
