No hidden spread, no surprise charges. Here is every fee B28 can charge, in plain numbers. Anything not listed below, we do not charge. Our own fee, at full precision, before you are asked for anything — because a company's margin is the one number it has an incentive to keep quiet, and ours is on this page.
Holding and receiving
Free. Holding any of your assets costs nothing, and receiving into your B28 wallet is always free. Because B28 is non-custodial, there is no account fee to pay either.
Sending
Free from B28. We add no fee when you send. You pay only the network's own fee, which goes to the blockchain itself and not to us. That network fee varies by chain and by how busy it is, and it is shown to you before you confirm. See which chains you can send across on Supported networks.
Convert and swap
Converting one asset into another in-app carries a 0.85% B28 fee, reduced to 0.50% on the Ultra plan. Conversions use the mid-market rate with no hidden FX spread, so the only B28 cost is that one percentage, shown before you tap confirm. Convert opens with its live-rate preview, and executed swaps follow as routing is enabled.
Buying crypto with a card
Buying crypto with a debit or credit card goes through an on-ramp partner. Their fee, not ours, is shown in full before you confirm the purchase. You always see the exact amount you will receive before you commit.
The card
The instant-convert Visa card arrives with a regulated banking partner. Its spending fees and the countries it reaches are published in full before anyone can order one: we will not ask you to spend on a card whose costs you have not seen.
What we will never charge, and never pay
No account fee, no inactivity fee, no hidden FX spread. Equally: no cashback, no rewards, no points, no sign-up bonus and no referral bounty — not now and not later. We have no interchange, no float and no deposits to fund such a scheme, and a wallet that promises one is either paying you out of someone else's money or planning to stop.
